Current Construction Activities Update
2026 Cove Road Pump Station Rehabilition Project
In 2025 the District awarded a rehabilition project for replacement of the motor control center, emergency generator and replacement of the aging building/mcc enclosure to Fort Brag Electric. Construction for this project is estimated to begin in early May of 2026 with the project wrapping up in late summer 2026. The replacement of the aging motor control center and emergency generator will ensure the continued safe, efficient and reliable sewer service that our community is used to.
2025 Sewer Rehab Project
Project is nearly complete. All of the sewer line segments selected for rehabilitation on this project have been intalled. All that remains is some asphault restoration in the Tiburon (Tara Hill) and Belvedere (Belvedere Ave) service area. Final Paving Restoration on these streets is estimated to start the 2nd week of December. (White Trucks/Green Lettering - APB Engineering).

Main Plant Digester Cleaning and Rehabilitation Project
The Project is 80% complete -the first phase of the project is complete with the secondary digester now cleaned and back in service - The Primary Digester is now clean and ready to be placed back in service. All that remains is some concrete restoration work outside of the Roll Up doors - in front of the plant. That work will begin at the beginning of the new year. We are looking at February final completion of this project where our neighbors can expect things to be back to normal on Mar West in regards to noise, parking and deliveries.
